I have fond memories of Sonic Adventure 1 & 2, but I will leave them in the past. I don't think I'd have much patience for them anymore.
Off the top of my head these are a few of mine :
Dark Cloud 2. I played that game for hundreds of hours the first time. 100%'d it. Collected everything. I...
If I get anything it'll probably be a PS5, but that's only because my wife and I are die hard RaC fans. Until RaC comes out I'll probably just stick to my PC, I finally have one that can play modern games so that's been a bit of a revelation to me.
I've never been able to get into Sunshine. I've always found it slow, I can't for the life of me get the hang of controlling FLUDD, and I just found the levels are chore to navigate. I'm glad some people love this game, I know a few, but I've never been one of them. Jak and Daxter came out...
More and more as the games difficulty ramps up.
"I swear, I'll only save at the beginning of the level."
"OK, I'll save at checkpoints too."
"OK, this sections a pain in the ass, I'll save after I finish it."
"OK, fuck this boss." *saves after every hit.*
Legend of Zelda : A Link to the Past - My first video game love; I've played it a thousand times and I'll play it a thousand more.
Castlevania : SoTN - Music, atmosphere, bosses, perfect pacing this game has it all.
Dead Cells - I can't think of a game where the player control felt so perfect...
I can think of two (FFT's and FFXII) Ivalice and BotW's Hyrule.
Ivalice has some of the coolest lore and races I've ever encountered in a video game.
But I've never seen a world as fun to explore and just look at as Hyrule. I felt like a kid again where everything was new and their was...
Mario Odyssey ... You know what this is. Loved it. As far as my kid was concerned watching this was as good as watching a cartoon.
Darksiders: Genesis ... It's not what I thought it was going to be; not entirely sure what I think yet.
Luigi's Mansion ... Hate the controls, loving the atmosphere...
I'm gonna be "that guy" and say Firefly. Based on the movies and comics I'd say that they had a lot more planned for the show and I wish they had a chance to end the show gracefully.
Also, Galavant. Not everyone's cup of tea but I [email protected]#$ing loved every minute of it.
