I did enjoy The Gunslinger. Not as much as I expected, though (it was my very first Stephen King!). And some parts just seemed to drag and then that ending which was... weird, to say the least. It seems to be an intelligent story though, so it still has my cautious curiosity haha

I read the first Dark Tower a couple of months ago and... I cannot say it was the most enjoyable read I've had this year. I read a lot of people saying it gets better in the future, so I might still give the second chapter a go.

One name that always comes to mind when someone says "best villain" is Anton Chigurh from No Country for Old Men. The character is brilliant! He's frightening, smart, merciless, and a powerful antagonist in the truest sense of the word.
