Just finished Dark (Netflix Original TM) and I honestly think it's one of the best things ever written in any medium.
The way it continuously develops its story all the way up to the final episode, how it goes everything together and every episode has meaning and weight and depth is just astoundingly good.
So it got me thinking, if you could pick five TV shows of the last ten years (2011-2020) what ones would you list as essential to understanding your taste in shows?
Don't worry about ordering them; the shows can be either standalone (Chernobyl), a continuous story (Dark) or an anthology (Fargo).
For me:
Dark
BoJack Horseman
The Leftovers
Chernobyl
Hannibal
