Made some breakfast tacos today. Cut up a couple hot dogs and browned them a bit in the pan before I threw in the eggs to scramble. Only problem is this made it too salty. I salted the eggs like I normally would, but hot dogs are inherently salty. I should have put a LOT less salt in the eggs themselves, or perhaps none at all.

Lemme tell about these Tortillas. I cget them at Walmart. They're from a brand called Tortilla Land. You buy them raw and cook them. So I just heated them one at a time in the pan before I cooked the hot dogs. I LOVE these Tortillas. I can't even explain what makes them so good. But they're like 10 times better than any other flour Tortilla I've ever had. We use these all the time. Cannot recommend them enough!

Here is some Ham and Split Pea Soup. Might not look super tasty, but it's pretty good!

Outside of my okonomiyaki I haven’t been making much new stuff lately; work has taken over, so it’s simple pastas and vegetables most nights.
But I’ll be darned if I didn’t make this totally innocuous omelette look like you could charge $15 for it.

Not pictured: A big baked Japanese sweet potato.
Also because basically yesterday was a day where all I wanted was a dessert, light dinner of that and a carrot cake cupcake!

Can’t take credit; from a local bakery. Good ‘n moist cake, very sweet cream cheese icing, but not awful. Perfect dessert portion!
Hopefully going to have some fun in the kitchen this week; salt & pepper fish, make up some more Indian eggplant.

First attempt at a baked mac and cheese using soy products (I'm lactose intolerant). Seasoned it with some basil, oregano, and thyme, and mixed plenty of cayenne into the crust for a light kick. Came out pretty nicely, and I've got enough for 4-5 full meals. First piece unfortunately fell apart completely as I tried to scoop it out of the dish, but it tasted nice all the same.

Made some breadsticks tonight! Had them with Shakshuka. Quite tasty. I added Italian Seasoning and Parmesan cheese inside the dough and on top of the bread.
