Outside of my okonomiyaki I haven’t been making much new stuff lately; work has taken over, so it’s simple pastas and vegetables most nights.
But I’ll be darned if I didn’t make this totally innocuous omelette look like you could charge $15 for it.
Not pictured: A big baked Japanese sweet potato.
Also because basically yesterday was a day where all I wanted was a dessert, light dinner of that and a carrot cake cupcake!
Can’t take credit; from a local bakery. Good ‘n moist cake,
very sweet cream cheese icing, but not awful. Perfect dessert portion!
Hopefully going to have some fun in the kitchen this week; salt & pepper fish, make up some more Indian eggplant.
